A tenuous connection, perhaps, but here’s some video for Idris Elba, currently making waves in a new show but of course still arguably best known as Stringer Bell in early seasons of The Wire. Where was that show set again…?

My editors would not respond to my repeated requests to go to our L.A. offices to, um, assist with the interview. *monumental sigh* Anyway, Elba was recently nominated for his role on the BBC America show Luther, and the second series of that starts on Wednesday.
