Poe-tograph Contest

It’s fall, it’s Baltimore, and Halloween is just around the corner. It’s hard not to spot hometown hero Edgar Allan Poe in his many forms around town this time of year, especially right now at CENTERSTAGE—where we are getting ready to start previews for The Completely Fictional—Utterly True—Final Strange Tale of Edgar Allan Poe.

So, in honor of our favorite master of the macabre, we’re challenging the charming people of Baltimore to “find your Poe”, snap a photo, and post it to Twitter using the hashtag #CSPoetograph. And of course, you don’t have to live here to feel like an honorary Baltimoron for this contest. Just snap and post and we’ll consider you one of us.

The cleverest Poe discoveries will win Poe-tastic prizes! Participants with the most creative entries will win tickets to Poe and swag from Poepartner Baltimore Washington Beer Works (creator of The Raven Lager). All submissions will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of 3Pack Memberships to the 2012-13 Season at CENTERSTAGE.

Contest begins today, the anniversary of Poe’s death (October 7th) and will keep on keepin’ on until the show’s closing on November 25th.

Don’t have a Twitter? Poe-tographs can also be emailed to’ll gladly post your Poe-tograph to social media.

Follow us on Twitter at @centerstage_md and like us on Facebook here to join the conversation and help spread the word about the Poe-tograph Contest and Poe as well as Enemy and My America.

And: Poe-st (ha!) about Poe outside of the contest on Twitter by using the hastag #CSPoe. Posting aboutMy America or Enemy? Those hashtags are #MyAmerica and #CSEnemy.
